The multi-partner ALIGN-CCUS project has launched its new website, which aims to provide a user-friendly hub for all project details, activities and outputs.
The international partnership of 32 research institutes and industrial companies has secured European and national funding for interlinking areas of research into carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS).
Research results will be used to draw up blueprints to deliver CCUS in the industrial regions of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Grenland in Norway, Oltenia in Romania and Teesside and Grangemouth in the UK.
The online portal will enable the project partners to share news, knowledge and information with stakeholders worldwide, including industry, academia, policy makers and the wider public. It features dedicated news and events feeds as well as links to the project’s social media channels.
The first phase of development was completed in time for the project kick-off event in Amsterdam on 4 and 5 October 2017. Work is now under way on phase two, which will include more details about each area of research, a quick-search function for project outputs, and more about the people engaged in the different work packages.
