Scottish Enterprise is Scotland's main economic development agency and a non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government. Scottish Enterprise aims to build Scotland’s international competitiveness through innovation, internationalisation, investment and inclusive growth.
Scottish Enterprise has linkages into key research and innovation bodies in Scotland. The Oil and Gas Innovation Centre, the Innovation Centre for Sensor and Imaging Systems and DataLab are all part of Scotland’s network of Innovation Centres. Scottish Enterprise is currently supporting the delivery of the proposed £180 million Oil & Gas Technology Centre in Aberdeen and works closely with Scotland’s universities and colleges, forging strong links to industry.
