The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is Norway’s largest university and the primary center for technological research and education with a firm foundation in natural sciences. NTNU was/is the coordinator of 64, 126 and 19 projects under the 6th, 7th framework and H2020 programmes, respectively.

The Environmental Engineering and Reactor Technology (EEART) group in the Department of Chemical Engineering has over 20 years of experience in CO2 capture from natural gas and flue gases. It has had an active role in national and EU projects, including BIGCCS, CCERT, GREEN SEA and SOLVit, and EU-projects iCap, HiPerCap, OCTAVIUS, CESAR, CASTOR, CLEO and ECCSEL.
